Day 393 Puerto San Julian to Comodoro Rivadavia 458km

Today marks the beginning of our last week of riding, just 6 more days to ride together after today, sad but true.

Day 399 Monday February 16th Buenos Aires “Rest Day”

Last night we took 2 taxis and went to a suburb called Palermo. I think it was more a lunch spot than dinner spot as a lot of the Market Stalls were already packed up, or busy packing up. There were lots of restaurants and pups and after Rocky bought his wive a traditional “Mate Tea Cup with Strainer Straw plus 10 years of tea-leaves,” we chose a restaurant and had some Empanada and steak.… Read More

Day 400 Tue. 17 Feb. Buenos Aires to Ferry Terminal in Uruguay 6km by bike and 51 by Ferry

And then we hit a Curve Ball, the day before I fly. I am writing this Blog from the Cafeteria of the Ferry Terminal in Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay.

The ferry from BA was a 51km ride. We cleared Passport Control and left Argentina and then walked a few meters to the next line and our Passports were stamped by the Uruguay Passport lady and then we rode our bikes onto the ferry after handing in our TIP’s, we were out of Argentina and only needed to get a new TIP in Uruguay on arrival.… Read More
