Packing, for 2 Back-to-Back trips = Chaos

This weekend is the DJ Rally (Durban to Johannesburg) with the old pre 1937 Bikes, so the bikes has to be from 1936 or older. Nora (my 1936 Norton) is ready even though she has not left my Patio since she finished the rally last year, but she has started 4 times now, so I believe she is ready.

It is only Pie and I from our group that will be riding the DJ Rally this year, the others has decided to go early and go to the Argentinian Moto GP this weekend, we will all meet in Lima on Monday.

Yes, you read it correctly, this weekend we finish the 2 day `”race” or Rally (a Regularity event where you need to travel at certain speeds without instruments and the person with the least penalty points against them for passing hidden GPS Loggers along the route you must follow on each days route)  on Saturday Afternoon, then I have a dinner, the next morning is the Rally’s Prize Giving Breakfast, and then I need to be at the airport by Noon to fly to South America.

I am taking a 20lt  Fuel Bladder, Dessert Storm nogal:

I am also taking two Metal Board with stickers on of the Countries we have done and the few we still need to do before we finish this Around The World Adventure:

You will see I was very inventive as I wanted to fill the sign with stickers, so I needed 49 Flags, so as the genius I am I added a few countries we were not planning on visiting but now we will have to. I also pretended that Lapland, Siberia and Alaska were Countries (they do have flags) and voila, 49 Flags to be stuck on my two Panniers.

I think I might do one more post before we leave and post a few photos of the DJ Rally.

Luv ja Madly
