We always try to het to know the people of the country we are traveling through, getting to know their culture, eating the food they eat at the local places they eat. We went to see a show with traditional music played on traditional instruments, dancing as well as throat singing and contortionists.
We went out for dinner with all the paragliging guys in Ulan Bator and ate in a private dinning room, these guys arranged a place for us to lock-up our bikes.
There are no GPS Map and used the opd trusted way to navigate, Eddie who we met at dinner spent the entire Friday on the back of Peens’s bike as we rode through town between Yokahama, (the Toyota got new tyres) and then we went to KTM in the “suburbs” and down a sand road. While some bikes got new tyres fitted which we bought in Finland, we went for lunch at a local restaurant and the locals could not stop staring, never seen a tourist, specially not in their local diner.
This is a photo Tex took of Pie on the way into town, The Pothole Of The Day, but this pothole had many slightly smaller brothers and sisters.
