Day 364 Friday 4 April Cafayate to Belen 291km

I think we are all rubbing off on one another, we are all different now to when we started with Leg 1 in 2012. Who would have thought that Pie would become caring? Last night he went to the cafe across the road from our Hostel and bought me a water and a Fanta (Cooldrink) and dropped it off in my room while I was sweating through my fever, and asked if I was OK.… Read More

I can’t believe this has just happened, I spent 2 hours doing the Blog and must have lost Wi-Fi, and when I pushed Publish the screen went blank and everything I had been pouring my heart out about was gone, missing, zero, niks. Well, I suppose it is more better it happens on a day like today when I have lots of time and not when I am trying to send my family a message that I survived the day of riding in the mountains¿s in  pouring rain without any wi-fi, and that everything is still OK with Super Dad.… Read More

Tuesday 8 April “In Closing” Final Blog

Today Peens had to do his “Admin” after his Rest Day yesterday, but Pie and I could play tourists. We walked the city square and took a Tourist Bus.

I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The bus passed through many Parks and Plaza’s, important buildings and Historical Landmarks. The Argentinian’s got fought for their independence against the Spanish from 1810 to 1816.… Read More
